Through compassionate care, therapeutic assessment and intervention, comprehensive resources and a commitment to empowering resilience, we aim to create a safe place where healing journeys begin.

Iman Williams Christians, Ph.D.

My clients call me Dr. Iman. I’m a licensed psychologist with over 13 years of experience in counseling. I earned my PhD from Jackson State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship with STRONG STAR, the world’s largest research consortium for the detection, prevention and treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) related to military combat trauma where she became an expert in providing Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure (PE) and completed the Prolonged Exposure Consultant Program with Emory University. I am also trained in EMDR for PTSD. In my personal time I enjoy mindful gardening and tending to my hobby farm.
